Week 2 of A Holiday Kindness Project
Welcome to the second week of the Kindness Project. Putting this together has been something that has brought me so much joy at a time when I really needed it. I have loved hearing friends say to me, “Hey, I thought of the Kindness Project when I let someone go ahead of me in line at Costco.” or, “I felt compelled to engage with a grumpy person at a store today because I had just listened to one of your videos.” Kindness can be spread in all sorts of ways. The point of creating this project was to think about different ideas and then practice doing them. Most of the suggestions are free and easy to implement, but the pay off is huge. We are all feeling the affects of COVID and our holiday season has been altered this year. There is nothing we can do about that. However, what we can do is look for ways to be kind to ourselves and to others; to spread joy, light and love to our friends, family, neighbors and even strangers. I hope you will continue to seek for ways to join in. Be sure to find me on Facebook and/or Instagram to post what you choose to do each day.
What kind of drink can you prepare for yourself that brings you joy?
What can you do that provides a special experience for someone you love? It can be a spouse, partner or friend.
When was the last time you mailed a letter to someone? Who can you send one to today?
So many people are in need this year. How can you help?
Showing ourselves love is so important. Write yourself a love letter today.
Can you fit 10-15 minutes today to find time for yourself?
Let’s spread some kindness this holiday season!
All the best!
